It is the school’s wish that our learners not only excel academically, but that they are able to express and enjoy themselves culturally and on the sport fields. We abide by the idea that a healthy body hosts a healthy mind. Sport and cultural participation improve their academic performance and we aim to provide ample opportunities for learners to take part in various activities. A healthy balance between competition and enjoyment is important and Welgemoed Primary provides a varied range of activities to encourage this balance. We provide:

PHYSICAL FACILITIES
The school grounds consist of a state-of-the art multipurpose field, a rugby field and a social club house called the Blessienessie with a kitchen and braai area. Four netball – and tennis courts make mass participation possible and there is a Fitbox gym located on the school grounds where learners get weekly fitness training. The Blessie Pantry is the school’s tuck shop where learners can buy snacks and hot meals.
