The school’s character program teaches our young Blessies the school’s core values by discussing character themes in each term.

The character club consists of parents, teachers and learners and they partake in projects like fun walks, charity projects, rock painting, nature-orientated talks and taking care of the Character nature pathway, located on the school grounds. During the annual Blessie Care Week, the character club does a canned food fundraiser to support less fortunate schools and communities.

Our learners get the opportunity to help others and to learn that even the smallest of us can make a big difference in the world.

The character club motto reads: Welgemoed Primary – where character shines.
